VANIA 葡萄
Vania 葡萄 (Chinese name: Grape) was born in Canada in 2001. She currently studies in sunny California at Cate School. Prior, she attended DCB, a British International School, in Beijing, China.
Vania has a wide range of passions. You can find her at the library or art studio, writing away at her laptop, checking up on the stock market, or just out and about in nature with her friends. She's also interested in anthropology (the field of study, not the clothing brand), and is always updated on the latest tech advancements.
Vania founded the World Origin, Youth Power (AHAWACIR) project in hopes to inspire youth around the world to join her in the "race against time to slow down the extinction of ethnic culture". Vania hopes that the youth will join her in the front lines in her efforts for cultural preservation, empowerment, and awareness.
Vania is one of the founding initiators of “丰盛艺+益青少年公益基金” (Abundance Art+Charity Fund). Through Art+Charity Fund, Vania is able to aid children in poverty-stricken areas through art and charity. She provided basic, but desperately lacking, living supplies to the Mosuo Elementary School children through the donations she raised.
In 2019, Vania attended and gave a speech at the 63rd UN Commission on the Status of women and was the youngest recipient of the "Global Women of Distinction Award".
